Hello Winter (which typically means hello dull, dry, flakey skin). Can I get an Amen? I know I am not the only one struggling with this right now and if you’re in the same boat I am glad you took the time to check out this post. As your go-to-girl to help you Look Great and Shoot Straight it is my duty to always report on any tips or tricks to get that job done and today’s post focuses on great looking skin.

I am excited to write this post today because as you know when I stumble upon new products whether they are in the beauty product, fashion or fitness world and even the self defense space I can’t wait to pass it on to you and I have a great one to share today. I get asked all of the time about my skin care regimen and favorite makeup products and I recently modeled for an event called Makeup Artists Unleashed where they introduced me to a product that has changed my life, ok maybe not my life but at least my skin’s appearance. Growing up watching Red Carpet entrances I’ve always been in awe of the sea of glowing, radiant faces that show up always knowing that my current highlighters and illuminators never seem to get the same glow.

However thanks to this event those days are long gone. We had the pleasure of sitting under and learning from one of the best Emmy Award winning makeup artists in the industry miss Melanie Mills. Melanie is the brainchild behind the glow for all of the celebs by creating her own line of products called Gleam by Melanie Mills. It was such a privilege of trying out her newest color in Peach before it hit the market and I can not rave about it enough. This product is unique in its ability to give the coverage needed (thanks to those years of not listening to my mom and hitting the tanning booth during my teens) while simultaneously creating a luminosity that can be seen a mile away.

Gleam is perfect to use as a primer and your foundation will not reduce its “glowy” effect. Not only is this product amazing on the face but it can also be used as a body radiance enhancer as well that comes in colors with names such as Disco Gold, Rose Gold, Bronze Gold and Deep Gold. I have on the Bronze Gold body Gleam in this photo below.

So if you are looking for a creamy alternative to your current powder highlighter or just need an illuminator that will actually “illuminate” you have got to get your hands on Gleam. It comes in several colors but my favorite during the winter time is the Peach for my face. You can order here at MelanieMillsHollywood.com. If you plan on using it as a body illuminator as well, which I highly recommend, make sure to get the 3.4 oz tube for only $15. As always I’d love to hear from you so don’t forget to leave me any questions or comments below.

Look Great and Shoot Straight,
Amy
